CADD Detailer

Structural Division | Sacramento

This is an opportunity to join the BT Mancini Structural Division team and work on some of the most detailed and challenging projects Northern CA has to offer. BT Mancini seeks a self starting, positive and energetic AutoCAD Detailer willing to problem solve and become part of our team. This opportunity is specific to our Structural Division, specializing in Architectural siding, waterproofing, parking garage facades, metal deck and much more.

Responsibilities: 

• Create and detail shop drawings per project plans and specifications using AutoCAD
• Create Bill of Materials
• Coordinate shop drawings with other trades that may affect our scope.
• Work within deadlines defined by construction schedules and material lead times.
• Generate RFI’s and review document changes to ensure all questions are coordinated prior to field install.
• Effectively communicate with Project Managers and field team to best support project.
• Work with a proactive mindset. Always think forward and plan.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year CAD experience in a construction related field preferred.
• Ability to read and understand Architectural and Structural drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Revit and/or Solidworks experience is a plus.
